Car Accident: Urgent Prayer Request

I usually don’t do posts like this, but I received a couple comments this morning on one of my devotions with an urgent prayer request attached. I’d like to get as many people as possible praying for this family so, after you’ve finished reading the below message, please take a moment to seek the Lord on their behalf.

Hi Dakota,

Some of our friends got in a car crash yesterday, and I would like to ask you to pray for them. What happened was, a car spun out in front of them, and they hit it head on. There were 5 of there 8 children in the car along with there Mom and Dad. Everyone in the car had a serious injury, The mom had two broken ankles, the dad broke his wrist, I forgot what happen to the older daughter but some thing happened to her, one of the other children had a broken femur (she entered surgery last night), the youngest daughter had internal bleeding, and the youngest child lost most of his teeth. That's about all I've heard thus far. Keep them in your prayers,

Grant Fedewa

I just heard that the mom also has a collapsed lung.

I will be praying!
God always has a reason for every trial- even though we can't always see it. Do you know if they are a saved family?
God Bless.

Northern Bell,

You're absolutely right. The simple fact that they all survived an accident of this severity shows me that God definitely has a purpose in this.

I'm not sure whether they are saved or not, so I've just been praying for God to meet both their physical and spiritual needs.

In Christ,
Dakota

Dakota, I am praying right now for this family, that the Lord will bring about healing, give the doctors and medical professionals divine skill to treat each member of the family, that this terrible experience will draw them nearer to the Heavenly Father. IN Jesus's name, Amen.

Lord, we believe:

Jesus responded, “Didn’t I tell you that you would see God’s glory if you believe?” So they rolled the stone aside. Then Jesus looked up to heaven and said, “Father, thank You for hearing Me. You always hear Me, but I said it out loud for the sake of all these people standing here, so that they will believe You sent Me.” - John 11:40-42

Dakota, thanks so much for visiting my blog and your thoughtful comment left behind. I did come over and am very impressed with all that I see here. May God continue to bless you and you uplift Him and encourage the believer in Him.

I have prayed for those in your prayer request. I pray God will use this in some way to bring glory to Himself, and heal those involved as is in His will.

Thanks again, connie

I'm praying for them! It is only by God's grace that they even survived that collusion! God must not be done with them yet! Do you know whether or not they were saved?

Hello Dakota~

Here is a quick update:
Two of the children are discharged, along with the dad. Of the others, one had surgery to reconstruct her femur, and another had surgery on his face. The other girl was discharged, but she is vomiting and they can't figure out what is wrong, so she is back in the ER. Pray that they would be able to find the problem and do something about it. Thank you for all you have done to generate prayers!
